Beautiful antique bronze candelabra set made in France in the 19th century. The candelabra arte identical and remain in great condition, preserving all their original parts and pieces. Each candelabrum has five lights located at the end of their corresponding arms; the design is airy and aristocratic. These items are very decorative, perfect to decorate a fine mantelpiece, a stylish sideboard or a noble and classic dining table. The candle holder that crowns each piece has a bronze snuffer that can be removed in order to use it. Each candelabrum has am architectural-inspired pedestal-shaped base that stands on four side legs, shaped like symmetrical moldings. At the front side we can see a bronze detail in the shape of a shield; this detail is also present at the back. Over this base there is a cup-shaped piece flanked by two elaborate handles. Both the base and the central piece are hollow; the metal creates wonderful filigree shapes that let us see through them. On top of the central piece we find a set of four symmetrical arms, elegantly disposed creating a cross. The arms are identical; they are all composed of two narrow parallel bronze strips that curve upwards. These pieces interlock with each other, making up a lively and stylish set. At the end of each arm we can see a candle holder with bronze filigree design and elaborate decoration. Last but not least, crowning each candelabrum there is another candle holder covered in this case by the bronze snuffer stated before. As elegant as remarkable, these lovely bronze candelabra will shine in the dining room of an unforgettable home. Measurements: Width: 9 in / 23.9 cm. Height: 20 in / 51 cm.
