Stylized and classic candelabra set made in France in the early 20th century. This is a set of two twin neoclassic-style pieces with solid mahogany wooden bodies and brass bases and candle-holders. The candelabra are in good condition though being around one hundred years old the wood looks fine and even, with no traces of wear, and the metal shines like new. Each candelabrum has a solid squared brass base with four claw-shaped legs and a shield in the middle of each side. Over the base stands the stylized mahogany body, narrower in the base than in the top. A fine brass detail crowns each one of the mahogany pieces. From each side of the wooden body emerges a brass arm the arms are symmetrical and their ends are shaped like fish. The candle-holders stand on these animals open mouths, creating an elegant and original design. This lovely classic candelabra set will look great on an elegant mantelpiece or on top of a luxurious dining table. Measurements: Width: 8.6 in / 21 cm. Height: 12 in / 30.5 cm.
