Singer Sewing Machine, United States, Year 1892. Unusual model of sewing machine patented in 1886 by the American The Singer Manufacturing Co. at its headquarters in New York. Its year of manufacture dates from 1892. This antique Singer is a prized utensil of great decorative value and romantic flavor from over a hundred years ago, and is in good working order and condition. It has a beautiful floral decoration in amber and yellow tones adorning its black lacquered body. The drawing barely shows signs of the passage of time (slightly faded colors and rubbing) although it does not tarnish the uniqueness, beauty and strength of the device. The machine has plates with its serial number (11228195) and another with the manufacturer's mark. It preserves its original hardwood protection box. Dimensions: 27.5 cm (height), 46 cm (width), 24 cm (depth).
