Lovely Boat Desk from ca. 1880 Completely Restored. Crafted from solid wood with beautiful brass appliques, this desk hides a surprising secret compartment. Consisting of two hinged lids, the rectangular red leather panel stands out when opened, with embossed vegetal forms in gold that run all around, original and in perfect condition. On the upper part there are different compartments of different sizes for inkwells, pens and blotting paper. The original key is attached and it is as beautiful open as closed. Its exterior features wood grain with small rectangular decorative panels on the corners and gilt brass hinges. It shows a decorative central shield of undulating shapes to match the key hole. But this magnificent desk hides an incredible surprise... It has a secret compartment. Would you be able to discover it before watching the video?
