Pair of decorative candlesticks made of calamine with patina and bronze, made between 1880 and 1900. This two magnificent pieces stand on small legs with the shape of oak leaves, that match with a beautiful pearly motive that joins them and an original triple leave with a central acorn top. The foot is surrounded by decorative volutes and two delicate four-petal flowers on each side. In the center there are two kneeled angels on a circular base with a top of inverted gilded-bronze petals, which makes a clear contrast with the rest of the piece. The angels of the candlestick are young, long-haired and severe, with very realistic huge folded wings. They are in an uncommon posture, with a knee on the ground and the other up, with the hands crossed over it. The angels lean on a decorative rear branch with leaves, also with a flower with inverted petals in the top, same as the one at the bottom. This makes an interesting and harmonic contrast of lights with the rest of the piece. The candlestick is decorated with branches and pearly motives, and has a beautiful border with oak leaves and fruits which is the icing of the cake. A lovely piece Perfect to decorate any room! Total weight: 2.390 gr. Candlesticks measurements: 30 cm (Height).
