Beautiful and Elegant French Bronze Jewelry Box Manufactured at the end of the 19th century, beginning of the 20th. Piece in rectangular form with all its faces decorated with scenes in low relief of very beautiful workmanship. The four legs of vegetal forms stand out, in the center of which sits a shield without engraving. The four lower fronts are decorated with beautiful genre scenes. On the front there is a cavalry scene, where both the characters and the animals are perfectly executed. On the sides there are more intimate scenes in clear stylistic harmony with the rest of the piece. The upper lid opens completely by means of a hinge. Undoubtedly this part is perhaps the most beautiful, with a country scene framed in a rectangular form of blunt points decorated with a beautiful pearl work that runs along its contour. The original lock is made in the shape of a dog's head, which gives the piece a more decorative look. The inside is entirely lined with a very nice ochre-cream colored satin cushioning.
