Metronome manufactured in the 19th century. It consists of a nice wooden box in prismatic form supported on two front legs. In the front it has a metallic needle and a half circumference of white color marked from 0 to 6. Likewise, in the upper part a beautiful golden harp decorates the piece, and undoubtedly makes it much more attractive. A small cover attached to the front triangular shape hides the metronome mechanism. This original shape allows the mechanism to be perfectly protected from external aggressions while not in use. The interior consists of a vertical metal bar with a weight that marks the times and a numbered central scale with the speed of the tempo indicated in Italian in the central part. In addition, the manufacturer is indicated at the bottom: E. Muller. The rod behaves like an inverted pendulum with adjustable frequency. When the weight is placed close to the base, the times are shorter, while when it is moved away from the base, the pendulum moves more slowly. As you can see from the pictures, there is a small bell on the bottom of the box that allows you to regulate the beats. This fantastic metronome is in perfect working condition, which together with its magnificent aesthetics, makes it a true collector's item.Beautiful antique metronome for music nostalgics.Measurements: 24 cm (height) and 11x11 cm (base).
