Beautiful and antique cigar humidor designed to keep cigars, made of Black Forest wood and big enough to keep fifty-four cigars. The wooden chest is handmade and profusely carved, and shows all its beauty as it has been completely restored. The lock is operational and it keeps the original key. The humidor is in perfect condition, and is great to keep the best cigars and also to decorate any desk or showcase. Humidors are chests which have been specially designed to keep cigars. The inside is made of a special kind of wood, generally cedar, and they are designed to maintain the perfect humidity conditions so as the cigars do not dry or ruin. In this case, the humidor is made of Black Forest wood, which comes from the Black Forest, a big wood located in South-East Germany. All the exterior surface of the humidor is hand-carved, and also the inside of the cover. The carvings depict floral motives. It has five removable trays with grooves to put the cigars in. The inside part of the cover can be unfolded to be shown in vertical position, resting on the upper borders of the sides. The handle of the cover is also hand-carved, and it is a beautiful ornamental top for the chest. It is a really lovely item, with a nice execution and a very special elegance, perfect to keep the best cigars in the most exclusive way.
