Beromat slot machine made in 1955. This is a German machine which was produced in Berlin by Günter Wulff. This fine slot machine is in very good condition and perfect working order. It contains many 10-cent original coins (Deutsch marks), enough to play with it, and it is mechanically operated. A particular feature of Beromat slot machine is that it was the first model in using fruit symbols for the jackpot combinations, something that has survived into the present. The attractive combination of colors that show the different metal details at the front is very appealing. These details have been enameled in three colors (green, red and golden) with a hammered finish. The box is made of plywood and the outside veneer boasts a nice dark reddish color. The front is framed with two golden threads that surround it. At the top we can see a beautiful polychrome metal detail which bears the machines name: BEROMAT. Just over this word we find the slot for the coins, and under it, the reels with the fruits. Over the reels we can see a button with the word STARTER. At the bottom rests the jackpots list and just under it we can see the coin tray. On the right side of the machine there is a lever to operate the reels in order to try to obtain some winner combination. It is painted in a hammered green color, slightly different from the green front details. The handle and rivets are bright red. On the left side there is a plate with two cards: one bears the name of the machine and the other shows the year of manufacturing. If we open the slot machine we will reach the inside mechanisms. There is also an orange sheet of paper with a German text: the handling and maintenance instructions. This is undoubtedly a very appealing piece which will provide its owner with many moments of fun. This vintage slot machine is a real pioneer in the field of casino games. Measurements: 510 mm width x 725 mm height x 25 mm depth.
