Vintage Porcelain Doll. Large Size. 65 cms. 1980's.

Gorgeous big-sized vintage porcelain doll, dated in the 1980s and in very good condition. This delicate item bears carefully-handmade clothes, inspired in the garments which were fashionable in the early 20th century. The dolls head, arms and legs are made of porcelain and all of them remain in excellent condition. The porcelain looks even and flawless except for some slight rubbings at the left side of the face. The eyes are green and very expressive; they no dot move and preserve all the eyelashes. The clothing is really impressive: the dolls garment includes leggings, bloomers, skirt and dress, as well as a beautiful pair of brown leather booties and a delicate silvery-metal hairpin at the mane. The iridescent-brocade dress is embellished with a big front decorative detail with fabric flowers and beads, and a light-colored bid which matches the skirt and is decorated with a flowery embroidery. The doll carries a handwoven purse, which she grabs with her right hand. This item is not a kids toy but a collectors piece, as delicate as beautiful.
