Antique black-gunpowder flask for muzzle-loading guns, coming from France and dated in 1900. This fine piece is made of copper and brass and remains in great condition. It still can be used to load antique firearms. The gunpowder deposit is made of copper and is decorated on with an embossed motif that repeats on each side. The image depicts a tree with a bird sitting on a branch and a dead bird hanging from the same branch. The copper is finely preserved and looks shiny and polished; the same can be said about the brass nozzle, which mounts a mechanism to dose the gunpowder amount to be poured in the firearms muzzle. The loader preserves the original brass rings for the carrying strap. This antique black-gunpowder flask for muzzle-loading guns is an original piece with a fine design and in very good condition. It is surely bound to become part of a good collection of special pieces. Measurements: Lenght: 7 in / 17.5 cm.
