Nostalgic antique British military compass used in World War I, made in London by J. Wardale & Co. in 1918. This is a fully original piece designed to be used in the terrible content that terrified the world in the early 20th century. The compass is exactly one century old and is in very good condition, showing also a great working order. The dial is made of white-enameled metal with black numerals and letters: they are all perfectly preserved and remain legible. The protecting glass pane is the original one. The compass is cased in a light-colored solid-mahogany wooden box, rectangular in shape and boasting a sober and functional design. Except for some slight paint remains (easily restorable), the casing is in great condition. At the lid we can see the hand-engraved manufacturing companys name: J. WARDALE & Cº - LONDON, accompanied by the serial number Nº 7435 -1918 (year of manufacture).
