This beautiful pocket watch is a nice antique that has survived to out days in great condition and working order. It comes from Switzerland and was manufactured in 1890. The box is made of sterling silver, with dark red Roman numbers. The silver boasts fine engravings in the shape of flowers, diamonds and more vegetal-inspired designs. This decoration covers the whole external side of the box, turning this watch into a piece full of aesthetic interest. The watch has been fine-tuned so now it works perfectly. This boxs face is lovely and boasts a great originality that turns it into an exclusive piece. It has coppery-metal hands and a secondary hand too. At the back of the watch, just in the piece that connects the crown with the box we can see a hallmark that testifies for the origin and quality of the sterling silver the pieces are made of. The rear cap is also decorated by hand with classic engravings and a flat central shield. If we lift this cap, inside we can find the serial number 161621 that is also engraved into the dustcap. The word METAL engraved on this second cap indicates that this particular piece is not made of silver, differently from the rest. The watchs movement is very attractive and is also fully hand-decorated, with lovely engravings covering all its pieces. We can see flower-shaped motives and zigzag fringes in every component, even the smallest ones. This is a very singular detail that provides this item with high interest. The precision and quality of its components is the reason for the good operation of the watch, whose movement has kept working impeccably for over a century. This striking pocket watch is almost a work of art because of its singular beauty, being also a functional item in great condition.Measurements: Width: 50 mm.
