Pocket Watch, ca. 1900

Curious and interesting pocket watch made in the early 20th century, a kind of watch known as digital. This is an exclusive article, a collectors piece worthy of a museum. This singular item boasts the classic pocket watch design, but instead of bearing a glass face with numbers and hands, it has a front metal cap with two small central windows. The top opening lets us see the hours and the gap located under it shows the minutes in Arab numbers. The watch is in good condition and has been fully fine-tuned in order to guarantee a perfect working order.The watchs front cap is made of silvery metal. It is flat and softly curved and looks polished. The gaps through which we can read the hours and the minutes are located in the center of the cap. The one that lets us see the hours is rectangular in shape and vertically disposed, with a slightly curved top side. The minute window, located just below it, shows a curious design in the shape of a heart or a butterflys wings. The numbers are black on a white background and are protected by glass panes.The rear cap is also flat and convex. This piece shows some slight signs of wear at the top edge, logical if we consider how ancient this article is, being more than one hundred years old. Under this cap rests the watchs movement that has been revised and adjusted and is very well preserved.
