Antique Omega Silver Pocket Watch in Very Good Condition. Switzerland, 1925

Fine Omega sterling silver pocket watch with hallmarks, made in the first quarter of the 20th century (1925). The watch is in quite good condition and perfect working order. The movement keeps all its original component parts and has been checked in order to guarantee a great operation. The watch boasts a classic and timeless design, full of beauty and elegance. It mounts a glass front door with gold-plated silver ring that protects a simple and classy face, white and with black Arab numbers. The face has black filigree hands and has a secondary hand at the bottom.In the face we can see the printed inscription G. SAMELIUS WALDEMARSVIK IMP., corresponding to the company Samelius Ur & Gold Company Limited located in the city of Valdemarsvik. This indicates that this Omega was sold for this pretigious Jewelry. The rest of the clock bears the Omega signature all over its surface and this indicates that it was made by the prestigious watchmaker company founded in 1848 by Louis Brandt. Omega is a real reference when talking of quality watches, and during the 20th century their watches have shone in relevant events such as the Olympic Games (Omega has been the official timekeeper brand in many occasions) or mans landing on the Moon. This models rear cap is decorated with a nice central shield with no engravings.
