Striking Junghans chronometer in excellent condition and working order, made in Germany in the 1980s. In spite of not being an antique piece, its vintage design boasts an undeniable charm. The movement is highly precise as corresponds to a Junghans model, and has been fully fine-tuned and cleaned to guarantee the best performance. This stopwatch has a mechanical movement and shows off a clean, functional and straight design. This features turn it into a wonderful article of timeless beauty. The model has silvery metal box with glass front cap and rear cap in non-engraved metal. The face is white and has three hands with their corresponding numbers. At the top, just between the minute hand and the second hands we can see the word JUNGHANS printed in black lettering. The company was founded in 1861 by Erhard Junghans and Jakob Zeller-Tobler under the name Junghans & Tobler. In 1927 they started producing wristwatches, and they widened their field of operations in the 1950s when designer Max Bill entered the company. Junghans is currently a real reference when speaking of greatly designed and precise watches. The stopwatch has minute hand, second hand and a small face below that indicates the tenths of seconds. The face bears black Arab printed numbers, quite simple and neatly legible. Under the three hands there is an inscription that reads MADE IN GERMANY.
