Gorgeous pocket watch from the early 20th century, made of sterling silver and with nielloed hand-engraved decoration. This watch is a very attractive piece because of its originality, good condition and perfect working order. It was made by the Swiss brand Baltik; its movement has been fully checked in order to guarantee an impeccable working order. The watch preserves its fine decoration in good condition and bears hallmarks that testify for the original and quality of the noble metal it is made of. The watchs front cap is made of glass with a nielloed-silver circular frame that continues the rear decoration. The face, white with black Arab numbers, bears the printed brand name: Baltik. The Louis XVI hands are made of coppery metal and boast a gorgeous filigree design. If we turn the watch we will see the great decoration that embellishes the rear cap: a hand-engraved hunting scene with nielloed and copper-plated zones. The nielloed finish is very well preserved in spite of its delicacy. The dustcap bears a fine inscription with the brand name and information about the watch in German. Both caps bear a series of marks in their inner sides: the watch serial number (860621), the hallmarks and the silver proportion. The rear cap also bears a mark with the word NIEL for nielloed. The movement bears the word BALTIK in one of its pieces, with another one showing off a beautiful engraved decoration. Its ancient age and stunning decoration turn this pocket watch into a rare and original article, full of beauty and elegance. Measurements: Width: 50 mm. Height (with crown): 61 mm.
