This wonderful pocket watch, an antique piece full of special charm, was made in Switzerland circa 1900. The box has an 18-carat gold box and is decorated with black enamel and hand-engraved motives. The front cap shows an engraved insect in front of a flowery branch and accompanied by a small butterfly. This charming image is embellished with several diamonds, carved the old-fashioned way. There are a few diamonds are missing but the watch still preserves some of them they are all original. The watch is a beautiful and original piece, full of elegance and class. If we lift the front cap, inside we will see the mark that indicates the carats (K 18), a hallmark depicting a womans profile and the number 41 engraved in the metal. Under this cap, a glass protects the lovely face with black Roman numbers and hands. The silvered dial is decorated with tiny gold details shaped like volutes and has a secondary hand. The rear cap is also made of gold: inside we can see again the inscription K 18 together with the serial number 90541. Outside is decorated just like the front cap, with a black-enameled leave-shaped background and a fine engraved branch. The dustcap, also made of gold, is profusely engraved with French inscriptions. We can read information about the watchs movement and its origin (Geneva, Switzerland). The mentioned serial number is also engraved in the metal as well as the number of jewels, 15. The watch is signed by Jaime Trilla, Spanish watchmaker, who worked in Switzerland. Under this cap, the movement is protected by a forth cap made of transparent glass.
