Lovely antique pocket watch with calendar and secondary hand, in great condition and working order. The clock is an original and charming piece that was made in Switzerland in the late 19th century. The box is made of blued silvery metal and shows a nice engraved motive around the face. The clocks movement is in excellent condition as it has been revised, cleaned and fine-tuned in order to guarantee an optimal performance. The clock is exceptionally beautiful and shows off a remarkable elegance, being perfect to complete a classy gentlemans attire. The watchs face is gorgeous. It is white and shows no cracks, hairlines or dents. It bears black Roman numbers and is embellished with small golden dots for the minutes. As stated before, there are two secondary hands that point out the day of the month and of the week. Under them and over the secondary hand we can see the word PATENTED printed in black lettering. Around the face, the box is decorated with a delicate engraved fringe composed of geometrical shapes and flowers. The watchs rear cap is made of even blued metal. At the top of the box, the crown and the lock stand out as they are made of golden metal. This material makes a nice contrast with the rest of the design. If we lift the cap, under it we will find the delicate movement protected by a glass cap. One of the movements component parts bears the Swiss cross and the serial number 1112 engraved in its surface. Inside the rear cap we can see a mark with the word ACIER, the word SWISS and the boxs serial number, 2976. This beautiful and antique pocket watch is a turn-of-the-century piece, original and fully functional in spite of being more than one hundred years old. Measurements: Width: 53 mm.
