The choice of this clock for inclusion in our offering shows the trend in collecting unusual specimens and models that will arouse the interest of the customer who wishes to collect objects that stand out either for their peculiarity, their beauty, or both. On this occasion we are showing a particularly unusual specimen of a lepine watch with a 24-hour Arabic time display from 1 to 24, in perfect condition and in perfect working order. Highly sought after by collectors, of Swiss manufacture and historical dating approximate to the year 1900, 19th century. The case is round in blued ferrous iron, has no cover and is of the pendant type and crown at XII and 24 hours, with the number 1 engraved on the back of the back cover, accompanied by the inscription Argentan; it is completely smooth and has a side pusher that when operated and turning the crown allows the time change; leaving it pressed, the crown is repositioned to wind. The dial is in white enamel on convex copper, with the inscription Chronomètre, in which the hour indications are in black enamel Arabic numerals from 1 to 24, indicating, therefore, all the hours of day; on the outside of these in red enamel and Arabic numerals, the indication of the minutes. Additionally, in Arabic numerals and smaller red numbers, on the left inside indicates the 12 hours after noon numbered from 2 to 12. It has a seconds hand at VI in black enamel. The hands are Louis XVI type in brass with gold plating. The machine is Ancre Soigne, according to the inscription on the dust cover, three-quarter round caliber, made of gilded brass, being the indicator marked by Advance and Retard. As also specified on the cover that covers the mechanics, it has 15 bright red anti-chattering rubies. Case measures: 49 mm in diameter.
