Amazing antique solid-silver pocket watch with hallmarks and in excellent condition. The watch comes from the Swiss city of Delémont and is dated in 1900. The movement has been carefully cleaned and fine-tuned so today the watch is in optimal working order. This feature turns it into an antique, decorative and functional item. The watchs casing mounts three silver caps with their corresponding hallmarks; moreover, we can see the hallmark of the Swiss silver (a capercaillie) clearly engraved in the piece that connects the crown and the case. The front cap bears a nice and delicate hand-engraved decoration with a vegetal motive, simple and elegant. Under this cap we can see the watchs face, a white piece with big black Roman numbers, stylish and perfectly readable. The rear cap bears the same engraved decoration as the front cap; inside we can see a mark with the silver proportion (0,800) and the serial number 212798. These two inscriptions are surrounded by a series of concentric circles composed of broken lines and neatly engraved in the metal surface. Under this cap there is a third one, a silver dustcap. This piece is finely decorated with a series of inscriptions with information about the watchs movement. They are engraved by hand with different types of lettering, all of them quite simple and clear. The dustcaps inner side bears the engraved serial number, silver proportion and Swiss hallmark stated before. This piece also bears a series of dates and numbers carelessly engraved in the silver too. The fine elegance of this antique silver pocket watch turns it into a stylish accessory for every special moment, being also a delicate and beautiful piece. Measurements: Width: 55 mm. Height (with Crown): 70 mm.
