Antique Gold Plated Pocket Watch. Switzerland. Circa 1910

Fine antique pocket watch with gold-plated casing, in very good condition and perfect working order. The watch mounts a Swiss movement and is dated circa 1910. The gold-plated finish is in amazing condition, regular and even; on the other hand, the movement has been fine-tuned so today it shows off an excellent performance. The watch case has a front cap with guilloche grain-like engraved decoration and a lean central shield, perfect to engrave the owners initials. The shield is surrounded by hand-engraved leaves and delicate motives. The rear cap shows off the same decoration, in this case without the shield. Inside the front cap and the dustcap we can see the serial number 70809 engraved in the metal. The dustcap bears an engraved lion too. The white dial with black Arab numbers mounts delicate Louis XV golden-metal hands.
