Antique Omega Pocket Watch in Solid Silver. Switzerland, 1919

Fabulous antique Omega pocket watch in very good condition, made in Switzerland in 1919. The watch is a very remarkable piece for its lovely design and attractive dial. Its movement has been overhauled in order to guarantee a great performance; this means that today the watch is fully functional. The casing is made of solid silver with gold-plated front ring; the casing, the movement, the case and the dial bear the manufacturing companys signature. The dial rests under the original glass cap and remains in perfect condition, with no hairlines or worn parts. It bears big black Arab numerals except for number 12, painted red. The Louis XV hands are made of golden metal. The rear cap bears a guilloche grain-like decoration and a lean central shield. In its inner side we can see the brand logo, the hallmarks, the silver proportion (0,800) and the serial number 6166815. The dustcap bears the engraved brand name OMEGA accompanied by the medals awarded to the manufacturer; inside it has the same marks as the rear caps. The movement shows off the manufacturing companys signature too. This antique pocket watch with solid-silver casing is a good example of Omega watches high quality, as well as of the beauty of their designs. Medidas: Ancho: 51 mm.
