Antique Solid Silver Antique Pocket Watch. Switzerland, Circa 1900

Gorgeous antique pocket watch with solid-silver casing, made in Switzerland in the early 20th century (circa 1900) and in very good condition. The watch works fine; its movement has been thoroughly overhauled in order to guarantee its perfect operation. It boasts a sober and classic design that turns it into a timeless and elegant piece, perfect to be worn with the most stylish outfit. The ring that frames the front glass cap is made of gold-plated silver, just like the crown and the ring. Under the glass we can see the dial, with its white background and black Arab numerals. It mounts Louis XV golden-metal hands. The rear cap bears a guilloche grain-like decoration with central shield; the shield is an oval surrounded by a fine hand-engraved motive. The owner of the watch will be happy to engrave his or her initials in the oval. This cap bears the silver proportion (0,800), the serial number 138253 and the Swiss silvers hallmark engraved in its inner side. The dustcap is made of gold-plated silver.
