Fine and antique solid-silver pocket watch in good condition, made in Switzerland in the early 20th century (circa 1900). The watch mounts a cylinder-type movement; it has been fine-tuned in order to guarantee a good working order. The casing is fully made of solid silver, each cap bearing the corresponding hallmarks. The front cap is made of glass and protects a delicate white-porcelain dial with black Arab numbers. As well as the classic numerals from 1 to 12, there are also a series of smaller red numbers indicating the real hours of the day (from 1 to 24). Just over the hand we can see the brand name Croissant painted red. The dial mounts Breguet black metal hands. The rear cap is decorated with a lovely Art Nouveau embossed motive depicting a group of flowers. Inside this cap and the dustcap we can see the engraved serial number 193665, the Swiss silver hallmark and the silversmiths mark. The dustcap also bears the manufacturers name engraved at its front side, together with the medals awarded to the maker in different events and exhibitions. Discreet and charming, this antique solid-silver Swiss pocket watch is a wonderful piece with more than one hundred years behind. Measurements: Width: 48 mm.
