Saboneta Omega Antique Omega Pocket Watch in 18K Solid Gold. Switzerland, 1923

Delicate antique pocket watch signed by Omega, made in Switzerland in 1923. This amazing watch has an 18K solid-gold casing with Swiss hallmarks that guarantee the quality of the noble metal. It shows an excellent working order and keeps the time very well. The gold casing mounts hand-engraved front and rear cap, decorated with a fine motif composed of vertical bands, a front central lozenge and a flowery garland. The lozenge bears no engraved decoration inside so the owner of the watch can engrave his own initials.If we lift the front cap of the watch, inside we will find the Omega brand name and logo together with the golds hallmark, the 18K mark (indicating that this cap is made of 18-carat gold) and the serial number 5588872. Under this cap, the white dial bears big black Arab numerals and slim blued metal hands. The dial also bears the printed brand name and logo (the Greek letter of the same name). Inside the rear cap we can see the inscriptions and hallmarks stated before. Under this cap rests the dustcap, also made of solid gold and with the name OMEGA and the medals awarded to the brand clearly engraved.
