Antique Gold Plated Pocket Watch. Case Germany, Circa 1930

Gorgeous antique Favor gold-plated pocket watch with case and chain. The watch was made in Germany circa 1930 and works perfectly, coming in its original case. It shows a great condition and looks as gorgeous as when it was made. It comes with the original chain, made of lean metal. The casing is made of gold-plated metal and mounts three caps: front cap, rear cap and dustcap. The front cap bears a fine guilloche decoration and a central shied with no engraving inscriptions. Inside the front cap we can see a fine engraved mark depicting a bison. Below the mark remains the serial number 313838. Under this cap we find the dial, with a light-colored ochre background and black Arab numerals. The brand name FAVOR is printed at the center of the dial. All this element is in amazing condition, with no stains or signs of wear and protected by the original glass pane. The rear cap bears the same guilloche decoration as the front cap, but in this case there is no central shield. If we lift the rear cap, inside we will see a French inscription in capital lettering indicating that the gold-plated finish had once a 10-year warranty. The watchs movement is hidden under the dustcap; it has been thoroughly cleaned and fine-tuned to guarantee a good working order. One of the metal component parts bears the brand name FAVOR engraved in its surface. The storing case is outside covered in faux crocodile skin; it boats a fine reddish-brown color and remains in good condition. The lock is in fine working order too. Inside the case is covered by dark red velvet and fuchsia satin. This gorgeous antique Favor gold-plated pocket watch will stand out in the styliest garment or as part of the best collection.
