The movement is entirely original from the time and the watch keeps the time greatly. The watch comes with a key to wind it up and set the time, though it is not antique. One of the movements component parts seem to have been repaired; though this detail could interfere in the movement great look, it is such a hign-quality reparation that enables the watch to work almost like new. The front cap bears a gorgeous decoration full of floral motifs that cover the whole surface. It is a hand-engraved decoration with such accuracy and delicacy that suggest it was performed by a real artist. We can see intertwined ribbons and groups of flowers that frame the central shield; this part contains two beautifully engraved initials. Inside the cap bears several hallmarks. This piece protects and hides the dial, also made of gold and with black Roman hours. It mounts spade and whip paved metal hands. The numerals look slightly worn but they remain perfectly legible.
