Antique Silver-Plated Metal Pocket Watch. Germany, 1903

Stylish antique silver-plated metal pocket watch made in Germany in 1903. The watch is finely preserved and remains in excellent working order, a surprising condition considering that it is more than one hundred years old. The front cap is made of glass (the glass pane is original from the time) and protects a beautiful white dial with sober Black roman numbers and cobalt-blue spade-shaped hands. The casings rear cap bears guilloche decoration with no-engraved central shield. At its inner side we can see the serial number 56732 with a hand-engraved inscription reading Herm. Stegmann 1903 (probably the owners name). The serial number is also engraved in the dustcaps inner side; its outer side bears a French inscription with some details about the movement.
