Very rare antique double-dial pocket watch with calendar, made of 18K gold. The watch was manufactured in Switzerland circa 1900 for the Spanish market and stands out for its beautiful design and good condition. At one side we can see the classic hour dial, while the other is a calendar. The movement is in perfect working order and keeps the time and the date. The calendar works fine. The tab used to set the day of the month gets stack occasionally (when it gets trapped by one of the wheels pins because a light wear). Nevertheless, this tiny flaw can be corrected by advancing the watchs time whenever the date has to be set. The gold front cap bears a beautiful hand-engraved acronym with two initials, CE. Its inner side shows the 18K-gold mark over the number 90. The rear cap bears no decoration at all; inside it has the 18K-gold mark too, together with the complete serial number, 133390. Under the rear cap we find the wonderful hour dial, made of gold and silver and with black Roman numerals and Louis XV metal hands. On the other hand, the rear cap protects the calendar; it bears black Arab numerals, golden metal Louis XV hands and a central gap that makes it possible to see the movement. This impressive and very rare antique double-dial pocket watch with calendar made of 18K gold is an exclusive piece which will draw everyones attention any time and in any place.
