Fine antique solid-silver pocket watch chain made in Birmingham, England in 1931, in very good condition. The chain is complete and preserves all its links, as well as a beautiful shield-shaped charm in lean and gold-plated silver. The charm bears an embossed vase-shaped motif framed by volutes. The vase has a great gold-plated finish which preserved all its original glow. If we turn the charm, at the back we will see some hallmarks (including a G letter corresponding to 1931). There is also a hand-engraved inscription: M. & D.B.L 1931. The shield is connected to the end of a chain which starts at the T-bar ring. At the other end there is a snap clip which can be used to hang the watch from the chain. This antique solid-silver pocket watch chain is a very special item for its great beauty, simple and charming design and fine condition. Dimensions: Length: 17.72 in / 45 cm. Weight: 56 g.
