Antique Solid-Gold Albertina Pocket Watch Chain. Circa 1880

Stylish antique solid-gold albertina pocket watch chain made circa 1880 and in perfect condition. The chain bears no visible hallmarks, but it has been acid-tested in order to guarantee the quality of the noble metal it was made of. The T-shaped bar includes a pocket-watch key, a feature which allows us to date this item before 1900. The chain is divided in three sections with two very slim chains each. The sections are connected by two green jade stones embedded in gold oval charms. The stone shows off a deep dark green shade which makes a perfect match with the golds warm glow. Its delicate design and perfect condition make it possible to use the chain with a pocket watch, but also as an elegant bracelet.
