Antique Solid-Silver Pocket Watch Chain with Enamels. 19th Century

Beautiful antique solid-silver pocket watch chain, decorated with hand-painted enamels and made in the 19th century. The chain remains in perfect condition and boasts an uncommon charm. The shiny silver makes a great combination with the enamels bright colors. Moreover, the enameled pieces are wonderfully preserved. The chain is composed of five thin silver braided cords, disposed in parallel. At each end it has a silver piece with its corresponding enameled motif: a blue rectangle with pink and green flowers. At one end, the decorated piece is connected to two thicker chains one is trimmed by a ring closing (bound to be connected to the outfit) and the other ends in a third enameled silver rectangle. The other end of the chain finishes in a small snap clip. This lovely antique silver pocket watch chain with enamels is a really beautiful item, very special indeed.
