Antique Silver Pocket Watch Chain. With Enamel Decoration. 19th Century

Wonderful antique silver pocket watch chain with enamel decoration, made in the 19th century and in excellent condition. The chain is complete, the enameled parts being greatly preserved and showing no cracks, hairlines or signs of wear. This is a beautifully designed piece, composed of four slim solid-silver cords connected by silver balls at the ends. Each ball is also attached to a thick silver chain, one of them with a snap clip (to be hooked to the watchs bow) and the other with a fine oval locket decorated with hand-engraved motifs. The locket comes is accompanied by a cylindrical silver bar. The chain is adorned with two silver barrettes with embossed scrolls and rectangular enamels. Each enamel depicts a group of green, pink and ochre flowers on a turquoise background.
