Antique 18K Gold Pocket Watch. Minute Repeater. Chronograph. Switzerland, Circa 1910

Antique 18K gold pocket watch with minute repeater and chronometer, made in Switzerland circa 1910 and in good working order although it does not give the minutes correctly. It gives well the hours and quarters but sometimes, the minutes are not given correctly. It keeps the time very well and the chronometer works perfectly. The watch is greatly preserved and has a gold case. The front cap bears a fine guilloche decoration with no-engraved central circle. Inside we can see the mark for the 18K gold, the Swiss gold hallmark, the metal proportion (0,750) and the serial number 437929. The white dial has Breguet blue hands and Arab hours. It mounts a slim straight hand for the chronometer and a secondary hand at the 6 position. The rear cap shows the same decoration as the front cap, and the same inner marks too. The gold dustcap is adorned with a series of hand-engraved medals corresponding to different international prizes awarded to the manufacturer. It bears hallmarks too.
