Antique Invicta Pocket Watch. Minute Repeater and Chrono. 18K Gold. Circa 1900

Extraordinary antique Invicta pocket watch with minute-repeating movement and chronometer, with 18K gold casing and made in Switzerland circa 1900. This is a big-sized watch, in fine working order and good condition. The only visible flaw is a small crack in the edge of the rear cap, scarcely apparent and that is photographed. The casing has three solid-gold caps; the outer ones are profusely engraved by hand. The rear cap has a fine central shield with the initials of a former owner. The decoration is really beautiful, composed of vegetal and classic motifs symmetrically disposed. The three caps bear the 18K-gold mark and the serial number 75405. The dial is white and has black Arab numerals and golden Louis-XV-style hands. The dustcap is engraved by hand with the images of the prizes awarded to the brand and the brand name, INVICTA.
