Sober and elegant German pocket watch made in the 1940s. The watch is entirely gold-plated and boasts a delicate decorative engraving in the front cap, made up of slim straight lines making regular groups. In the same cap, to the left we can also see an oval form designed to be engraved with the owners initials. The watch is in good condition except for a slight dent in the ovals edge. Nevertheless, the rest of the caps and components are as beautiful and functional as when the watch was made, around seventy years ago.In spite of its ancient age, this watch still preserves a modern and timeless design that turns it into a very attractive item. The crown and the faces edge are also delicately engraved with more complicated vegetal-inspired designs. Inside the front cap we can see a smart and fine acronym with the initials S CH. Just below rests the serial number: 1352. On the other hand, if we open the rear cap we can see the same number and a logo with the letters KJ and an arrow crossing them. This logo is engraved just over a German inscription: GOLD-DOUBLE 10 JAHRE. These words mean that the watch is plated in first quality gold and that in time the manufacturer provided a 10-year guarantee. The watchs face is highly original as it does not show the classical white background but it boasts a nice golden ochre color. The black Arabic numbers and the needles show off a simple and elegant design. At the bottom we can see a small subsidiary second hand. The movement that is left uncovered when we lift the dust cap is made of golden metal containing some silvery screws and wheels. It is in impeccable condition and has been revised to guarantee its perfect operation. This set of features makes of this watch the perfect gift for somebody who can appreciate the beauty of antique objects and vintage pocket watches, and is willing to value high-quality timepieces.Measurements: Height: 59 mm.
