Lovely pocket watch made of solid silver in Germany, in the early 1900s. This is a fine and smart piece whose simple design surely increases its beauty. The silver shows two colors: the metals own and a nice golden tone. The watch is in excellent condition and perfect working order, and has been carefully revised and adjusted. The watchs face that we can reach by lifting the front glass cap is white and has black Roman numbers for the hours. The minutes are disposed in a crown surrounding the hours, depicted in the form of Arab numbers. The watch has a seconds hand. Though it is in general in good condition, the porcelain shows some slight damage beside the number 2. The yellowish golden watchs crown (used to wind it up) makes a nice contrast with the rest of its parts, whose gold-plated finish has a pink tone. The rear cap is decorated with a net-shaped motive, very typical of this kind of pieces. In the center, a flat shield awaits for the moment when it will be engraved with the watchs owners initials. Inside this cap there are several hallmarks and inscriptions, such as the serial number 10266.1. The dustcaps front is engraved with an inscription indicating the number of rubies that the watch contains (6), and inside we find again the hallmarks and the serial number. The movement itself bears tiny lovely engravings among which a logo with an S stands out.We are surely looking at a wonderful and elegant antique jewel in working order.Measurements: Width: 46 mm. Height (with crown and ring): 56 mm.
