Beautiful Spanish Radio Beltran Brand, 40's. In good condition and working at 125V.

This beautiful Spanish wooden radio was made in the 40s of the 20th century by Beltrán brand. It is in good condition and it works at 125V. The chasing is made of varnished wood, and the veneer and color of the wood can be seen on the sides and upper part of the radio. The corners and the frontal frame are lacquered and varnished in an elegant ivory color. The front has an corrugated panel, painted in cream white, and the dial is slightly moved to the right. The dial has an original circular shape. In the center of the dial, painted in white and with black lettering, we can read the inscription Onda Media Dervy Senior Onda Corta (this two last sentences are written in red). In the center there is also an attractive winged logotype. Surrounding this design we can see the different radio stations and their countries. The dial has also a decorative circular frame decorated with light golden paint. Under the panel we can see four circular controls made of white bakelite, smartly decorated with a nickel-plated ring and a star engraved in the center. The rear panel is made of black plywood and can be detached to let us see the original mechanism. Several components have the name and logo of the brand, Beltrán, engraved on them. On the rear there is also an inscription in white lettering with the number of the model: Modelo 29. This lovely Antique radio is a real find and will surely highlight the best collection of antiques, constituting a first class decorative item for the smartest room or study.
