Elegant Antique Chalice in Solid Silver Gilt and Rhinestones, Circa 1870.

Stylized and sober chalice made of golden silver, whose beautiful aesthetic goes together with its undeniable value. It is a really nice silversmithing work, with a high value, historical and material. The silver is enhanced by the fine engravings which cover most of the chalice, and also by some colored crystals carefully sculpted which simulate precious stones. In the center of the chalice there is a rosette which four purple-colored crystals, sculpted in detail. Moreover, on the base we can also see a Latin cross made completely by small white crystals simulating diamonds. These details increase the aesthetical value of the item, turning it into a very special piece. The silver is engraved with vegetal designs: in the upper part we can see images of rushes, flowers, wheat spigots and bunches of grapes (symbols of Eucharist). On the base there are also floral engravings, and also on the rest of the chalice. The medieval style of its design adds to the ornamental taste that characterizes these rich pieces.
