Superb antique chasuble, stole and maniple set in good condition and with handmade embroiders. The three pieces are part of the same set and show off relief embroiders, made with golden thread. The chasuble is the main piece of the set, a really impressive garment with amazing embroidered motifs. It is made of a light-colored golden ochre fabric, the same used in the stole and the maniple. All the pieces bear delicate trimmings composed of checkered golden embroiders surrounded by dark red cord. The golden embroidered work is really amazing, specially the motifs of the chasuble. This garment bears a striking, probably hand made, embroidered motif at the back which contains a portrait of Jesus Christs. He is depicted as the Sacred Heart inside a mandorla, showing off his heart inside the open chest. The image has blue eyes and is embroidered on a dark red background; it is in strikingly good condition and looks really beautiful. It is inscribed inside a big cross that covers all the garments back piece. The arms of the cross are decorated with golden vegetal-inspired motifs and wheat stalks, symbolizing the Eucharist bread. The chasubles front side is decorated in the same way (in this case, without the image of Jesus Christ). The stole and the maniple (a fabric accessory worn by the priest over his left arm during the mass) are also adorned with golden reliefs and motifs. Both preserve the lovely original golden fringes in great condition. The stola is trimmed with a fine white collar adorned with hemstitch and crochet details. The golden embroidered motifs and the dark red details provide all the set with depth and beauty, and these features turn this liturgical set into a unique and special item. This antique liturgical chasuble, stole and maniple set in good condition is a handmade item, entirely original and perfect to be used by a priest who appreciate historic pieces.
