Elegant antique solid-silver chalice made circa 1930, in very good condition and original from the time. The chalice bears the silver proportion mark (935) near the foots edge, at the inner side of this part. The circular foot bears no decoration at all and is conical in shape; it gets narrower as it reaches the stem, in a fluid and stylish way. This includes an only node, decorated with crossed lines and symmetrical four-petal flowers. These motifs were engraved by hand and show off a clear medieval inspiration, simple and austere. The sub-cup is decorated in the same way, with hand-engraved motifs and images of wheat stalks, reeds and vines. Inside the cup preserves the beautiful gilded finish typical of silver chalices, in excellent condition too. For its elegant simplicity and attractive style, this antique silver chalice is a piece which displays charm and authenticity. Dimensions: Chalice: Foots Width: 5.51 in / 14 cm.
