Antique Ecclesiastical Cruet Set. Storing Case. Circa 1900

Antique ecclesiastic cruet set with storing case, made circa 1900 and in very good condition. This delicate Eucharist set is more than one century old and has survived to our days in perfect state of use. The cruets have circular brass foots and brass supporting bases with embossed and engraved leaves. The bases support small glass bottles with a stylish tapered shape which gets narrower at the neck. The glass shows the logical wear produced by the use and the trace of time, but it is otherwise original and shows no cracks or flaws. The cruets come with a circular brass tray decorated with brass details matching the cruets feet and beautiful engraved motifs depicting sea beasts. The whole set can be stored in a complete antique case, amazingly preserved and with inner compartments. Outside the case is covered with black leatherette, in an almost impeccable condition and with the original brass handle and fasteners. Inside it is covered with red satin, wonderfully preserved too and with the printed manufacturers name: ARMAND GAILLAT ORFEVRE LYON.
