Very antique chalice made of silver and metal, manufactured in Paris, France between 1818 and 1938 and in very good condition. The chalice stands out for its beautiful design, simple and discreetly elegance. The foot and the stem are made of silvery metal, while the cup is made of solid silver and bears the hallmarks. The base is decorated with hand-engraved motifs, simple though beautifully executed. It shows a radiant Cross, schematic wheat stalks and long leaves coming from the stem. This part includes a main ovoid-shaped node adorned with slim vegetal motifs, subtle and delicate. The silver cup bears four hallmarks, including the one for antique French silver and the silversmiths initials. The chalice comes with a paten, decorated with a hand-engraved Greek cross and possible made of low-proportion silver. This chalice, very antique and made of silver and metal, is a very special item which preserves all the charm of antique religious silverwork pieces.
