Antique solid-silver liturgical cruet set, made in France in the 19th century and in really fine condition. The cruets come with their original tray the three pieces are 100% silver and bear the hallmark of antique French silver and the silversmiths mark too, in different places. The cruets show a stylized an elegant design and are decorated with hand-engraved Christian symbols. One of them is adorned with bunches of grapes and the other contains the image of a group of reeds (symbol of the People of God). The handles are slim and stylish, embellished with Pompeiian-style flowers and scrolls. As for the tray, its edge is adorned with engraved reeds and bunches of grape matching the cruets.
