Gorgeous antique liturgical cruet set 100% silver, made in France in the 19th century and truly beautiful. The cruets are disposed on the original tray, also made of silver, equipped with two protrusions which keep both pieces in place and make it easier to transport them. One of the cruets has a small dent, quite slight and which does not prevent the set being used in the celebration of Eucharist (shown in the photos). Both have hallmarks which guarantee their ancient age and quality, and so does the tray. One of the cruets is adorned with a central band with engraved vines and bunches of grapes; at the other we can see a similar band, this time with reeds. They are both symbols related to the Eucharist and the People of God. The handles are slim, delicate and elegant, and are trimmed by a beautiful scroll with a flower and some branches. The only decoration of the tray is a discreet border composed of tiny spheres. Any lover of religious silverwork will appreciate the sober beauty of this antique liturgical cruet set, 100% silver.
