Censer for the burning of incense for the catholic rite that follows a renaissance criterion in its design, as it is presented as a wide cup with a high and perforated cover. It is offered together with the complement of its acerra or naveta, box to contain incense that takes its name for acquiring the form of a ship, according to tradition that starts in the XII century. The set is made of silvered bronze, of French origin, and dated at the end of the 19th century or beginning of the 20th century. It is in a very good state of preservation. Size of the incense burner: 24,5 cms of height and 10,5 cms of diameter. Weight: 1070 grs. Size of the naveta: 7,5 cms of height and 13 cms of width. Weight: 276 grs.
