Beautiful French chalice of the 19th century, in solid sterling silver. Of refined forms, with a design that follows neoclassicism concepts (XVIII and XIX centuries). The decoration is dominated by the elegance of its simplicity, with a flow of five-lobed vine leaves and bunches of vines, in clear allegory to the function of the object in the religious liturgy. Simple and tiny six-pointed stars, equidistant, adorn the rest of the surface. The knot is stylized, giving importance to the significance of the piece as part of the liturgical trousseau. Both the cup and the base show their corresponding contrasts. Size: 20,5 cms of height and 12 cms of diameter of the base. Weight: 310 grs.
