Antique Monstrance Case for up to 77 cms Monstrance. XIX Century

Antique storing case for monstrance up to 77 cm high, made in the 19th century and manufactured in solid wood. The case preserves the original outside leather covering, which though showing clear signs of wear due to the trace of time and the use, remains almost complete. The case is sturdy, durable and compact and keeps the original metalwork. One of the locks is loose but it can be easily mounted. Inside the case is covered of bright red velvet; this material is wonderfully preserved. In essence, this storing case is the perfect accessory to protect a valuable antique monstrance with all the character it deserves.
