Beautiful antique storing case for monstrance up to 68 cm high, made of olive wood and original from the 19th century. This case is a magnificent piece itself for its excellent condition and for the high-quality wood it is made of. Olive wood is renowned for its sturdiness, resistance and beauty. Over a golden-brown color in different shades, the wood this case is made of shows off a gorgeous intricate veneer full of knots and dark lines. The cases edges are adorned by fine milled moldings that provide it with character and stateliness. The lock is a simple brass hook in fine condition. Inside the case preserves its lovely bright-red satin lining, original from the period and finely preserved.
